Actually I do fish it all the time. All seasons. Nice gills nice crappie if you can find them. Good cat fishing, seen some nice walleye caught not by me, but they are in there. Some nice LMB through the ice if you can find them. Never have been able to get on a crappie night bight cause the gate opens at 06:30 and closes at 22:00. Have never heard of any problems of cars being broken into like some of the other metro lakes. Easy access from the boat ramp and not that far of a pull to most of the good fishing spots.
When we get safe ice (for me over 4”) I will send you a PM and if you want We can hookup, I will put you on some fish.
