Made a nice care package for my girlfriend's dad. He let's me hunt his land and I have his daughter's heart. He hasn't had fish in a while and he's talked about it all winter as I've been fishing. I think he'll love it. It's the least I could do to show my respect. Cheers everybody!

Good work!. I use salt pork in rye soup as well as on pirogies but i have no idea what cracklin is..... can anyone explain?

It's fried salt pork to top the chowder with when you serve it. Good stuff!
