filming
« on: Jan 12, 2016, 06:50 PM »
I am new to this page but have been spearing for a couple of years now. I would like to do some filming this year while spearing. I have a go pro and wondering if it will work or not. What types of camera's do you all use?
Thanks in advance!

My best results I have had is an old 8MM tape video recorder and I have used it for over 25 years.
It was an expensive one in the days.
And since I had many old video tapes I bought the computer equipment to convert to digital and they turned out great.
And of course I had to convert the family ones and weddings recorded.

I also want to try this. I got a vivitar, ( cheap go-pro), that comes with a helmet mount, but I am going to take apart a head lamp strap, and try to affix it to the camera. good luck. I have seen some vids on cams mounted the spear that were way cool to review, but I also seen one that made the spear plane so bad , they missed
