Jumbo and a real Small Fry
« on: Jan 18, 2010, 06:59 PM »
We caught a bunch of perch of various sizes today.  Here's today's biggest (caught by Greg S. on a tip up) and our smallest, I'm guessing about 2 3/4".  Definitely the smallest perch I have ever caught.
Looking for JUMBO Perch, Crappie, and Bluegill

Those really orange fins makes me think of the European perch.

Love how those little ones will hit a jig 1/2 the size of their head.  I call those "Napoleon Perch"

The employment of effort, hard work, time, and energy put in locating fish will offend noone.

That small one would be awesome for jiggin' up a gator!
The charm of fishing is that it is the pursuit of what is elusive but attainable,
a perpetual series of occasions for hope.
