Yeah...I was heading to Perry this weekend and was wondering the same thing.  Those 2 lakes were being fished hard...and now I hear nothing seems.  Any info would be great.  I may have to go to Big Creek again...not a fan.

I was there last Saturday afternoon.  Fished around the road bed.  Slow for me, picked up a few gills but a lot more lookers than normal.  Stayed a couple hours after dark also and nothing.  It was bright full moon and everything, thought for sure the eyes would go but no luck.  There was about a dozen other huts out.  Seeing more guys move up lake towards the dam and away from the road bed.  Might have to try a new area next time.

Nobody was last Saturday and the ice didn't seem much thicker than the weekend before.  Might be safe now with this cold but who's going to be the first to try.  :)

i was driving all over the lake sunday
once again we absolutely pounded the big nice gills along the roadbed in the ditch in 24ft of water using waxies and pilkkis

also caught some bass and one nice 2 lb walleyes

seen some crappies about dark from another group

not huge but pry big enough to keep

I was at 12 Mile Saturday and Sunday afternoon.  Similar results, lots of gills, several bass and a few crappie.  I fished away from the road bed towards the dam.  Tried the "get away from the crowd" method.  Still no keeper eyes in 5 trips.  Wonder what's going on, why all other species are active and the walleyes are MIA?

but i do bet there are allready some much better ones somewhere

these gills havent chowed all the good food but it appears they havent missed many meals
