I am always looking for new people to go check out lakes in Western Michigan, and thought this might be a way to get people to get new fising buddies.....Sorry if this has been posted already somewhere i did a search but came up empty.....

I for example am from Western Michigan, Kent County......Just trying to make new Fishing contacts and maybe fish some lakes that im not familiar with and have someone with that does....or of someone comes here I can help guide.....

well i cant really help out to much.

im from SE mich Oakland county. but im on the rivers in your neck of the woods almost every weekend from the end of febuary thru april.

I'm in Manistee (60mi south of Traverse City, 30mi north of Ludington). I primarily fish on Portage lake in Onekama (17ish mi north) for Pike and small perch. There are also rock bass in the lake, and I'll be targeting them this year as well

. Last year we set up a shanty on Green lake by Interlochen for smelt. Didn't do great, but caught some (we were on the wrong side of the lake).

SE Michigan but I also fish the lakes and rivers in Kalkaska and Antrim counties quite a bit.

When I set up Rock Bass Extravaganza 2007 I'll post on MFF and let everyone know. We fish for rock bass 5 straight days in NW lower mich.

From southwest michigan here too. I live in Battle Creek and fish several of the local lakes. Closest I've been to fishing in G.R. is Gull Lake. I come to G.R. for other things though. We might have to fish sometime.

I hail from Oakland County and fish Brendal, Cranberry, Pontiac, Oxbow, Woodhull and Alderman as wel as Union, Long & Cooley, and dabble a bit in LSC as well as Jose in Iosco County. Depends upon ice conditions, recent run-off and thickness of ice.

South West Michigan- Allegan County. I'm in the metropolis of Dorr.
I fish all over the place but when I'm home mostly stick to Barlow Lake. When Higgins is frozen I try to do most weekends up there. Also fish Ryerson in Newaygo county a lot because of a friend on the lake.
