Last year I fished the forage minnow hard, had exellent luck on 1/16 oz green, blue, and orange with a tboned wax worm. The little 1/20 oz frosty's are deadly also, got huge gills on both, crappies,LM bass and perch,I still have a pile of pimples (no. 2's) that can get the job done. Only trouble this year Pa. got bad or no ice.

One lake I do good with the forage in the smallest size on slabs, yet the other day on another lake I couldn't get any but watched chraman03 get a couple on a pimple. Guess it depends on the lake and the fish. I think both work equally well under the right conditions/fish/body of water.

small forage minnows in perch and rainbow trout work very well for me. better than swedish pimples.
