Been ready for it for awhile. I was trying to be good this year and not buy a bunch of stuff but just saw the new line if St. Croix MOJO ice rods. Yeah, going to end up getting some. Hoping for early cold and a long ice season!

Finished up all but the paint on the smitty sled tonight, almost finished with the milk crate gear storage/ table(not happy withat my current latching system). Gotta weld together alittle nicer and lighter spud, then I'll be ready for the ice. My gear all upgraded and went on a diet, hoping it will help increase the catch totals and hours spent on the ice.

This GUY!! Picked up a Mag 2000 last April from craigslist and it has been used maybe twice and I am dying to pop some holes. Looking at new flashers as well.

Not ready but thinking about it for sure. On the way up and down the attic steps (installing an exhaust fan in bath ceiling) I became distracted by the sight of several of my ice rigs stored in a knee wall that is only sheet rocked one side. I had drilled some holes in the bottom plate and turned them into usable rod storage.  Anyway I sat down and jigged one of my in line rigs for awhile admiring the action of an old school Mormyska. Still need some 4lb. floroclear, but slowly getting it together. Plenty of 2#,3# and enough jigs to outfit a small army. Or maybe the Swedish Bikini Team.

Wax for the bottom of your sled for an easier pull?  We just need to get you in the gym with some trenbolone and then none of us will have to worry about dragoing our sleds out there.

I slipped & tore my quad tendon clean off the bone on 9-15 . Surgery on 10- 4. Totally missed archery, waterfowl & will miss rifle too. I hope to be up & moving pretty good by new years. I  been lookin at my stuff the last 2 months. I have nothing better to do but therapy & wish I was out doing something. Besides watching election & burger king commercials. I just ordered a couple new jigs  & some other toys today. Bring on some ice for new years PLEASE
