1oz-2oz tube jig
« on: Dec 02, 2022, 07:03 PM »
I'm looking for a U.S. supplier for balanced 1oz -2oz jigs for +5" tubes. I can find all sorts of small stuff (3/8 seems to be the cat's meow) but I can't believe those manufactures don't go bigger than 3/4oz. Any help would be welcomed.

I was looking for the same and did a lot of searching for a lower 48 supplier and couldn’t find a site that sold tubes and jigs so I’d only have to make one purchase. Ended up placing one order for my group from Drop Tine Tackle on Black Friday. They are in Ontario. Thorne Bros sells their tubes but not the jigs.

Hammerheads go up to 1 1/2 oz, but they use a big 5/0 hook for swimbaits if that is an issue. I only have up to 1oz with the same 5/0 hook, and I use them with the 6 1/2" swimbait. I'm not certain that these are made in USA, but I believe they are.

Try senditoutdoors.com.  I been using his tubes and jigs the past few years.  Best I could find.  I'll be using them on my own tubes this year as I have a custom 8" mold for lakers.

I make my own jigs but only up to 1 oz.
In both straight eye and flat eye.
Though mine do have a bonus built-in rattle.
I buy my tubes.
And no I don't sell them!
