pishkun/split rock

I got to split rock at the butt crack of before sunrise and pulled into my usual spot only to find whitecaps where there had been ice before.  I don't do well at Pishkun but I would assume some of it was the same way.  Most of Split Rock from what I could tell was blown off.  Headed to Arod and actually did really well.  Luckily I was a slave driver and made everyone meet me early...got to Arod just in time.  If you're going out be careful

So you dont think pishkun has good ice? leanord here at roberts bait said there was 9 inches in the bays. im sure it is open in the middle. We were going up there tomorrow, hopefully tonight it freezes a little. I guess we will have to drill tons of holes to be safe, When it comes to ice fishing you can never be to safe.

Could you please report your findings.  I am debating about going fishing there in a couple of days.

The sheriffs office says lots of open water and weak ice. Doesn't sound good.
