Its alright, I spent 9 hours today scraping up the icy mess here in PA. I even had to miss church with the family. Oh well, at least i wasn't tomorrow. Have a gret Christmas everyone!!!

Worked over 20 Christmas Days, even was mandated to work double shifts from call-ins at times. Happens in hospitals, didn't have to, choose too for the most part. One of those - Sometimes doze but never close occupations, people still need help - no big deal here.

Im working, but I work on an Ambulance.  Atleast tonight im on the desk so i get to keep track of all the updates on here and my dirtbike forum.  Just another 6 hours of work, then home to open presents.

I'm working on a back of apple smoked fish. The last fish was a beastly Palomino I caught in the spring on my fly rod. 5.4 lbs on 6x tippet, as I recall. Anyway I'll be taking her in as soon as this batch of chips is done. You have to look on the bright side if you are working, for real. At least you have a job, and income. A lot of Americans aren't so fortunate. Merry Christmas.

I'm working as well doing a 16 hour shift. Triple time after midnight. Off at 8 am tomorrow. I'll be surfing around IS most of the night as I only have 8 clients and they are going to be sleeping soundly after I medicate them ;)

Man oh man i sure wish I could find a job where i could paid for playing on the internet. yes im jeolous, I cant even find a job to just plain work, well all i can say is gaurd those jobs closely.

Where I work usually after midnight everyone goes to sleep so I think the bosses keep the computers around so we don't fall asleep. I cherish my job for sure except when I have to clean up curdled vomit or explosive diarrhea  :sick: which is fairly rare.

Yog, look at the bright side you have a job to go to. I have been working at the same company for almost 26yrs and I`m not real sure they are going to make it in 2009. My fingers are crossed along with my toes.

yeh, hang onto those jobs as long as you can. i've worked for the same company for 38 years.
what once a plant with 300 employees, now consists of 6 hourly guys & 2 middle management,.
 will probably be closed by the middle of january. about 800 factory workers are now unemployed
 in this town of 13,000. not much hope of finding another job for most of us.

im back at work, 7 till 7,i know jobs are tough to find, been here 10 plus years, 3 other guys on my crew , internet keep me awake and makes nights go by faster, lots of time to work on hunting and fishing gear here
