Dipped in egg, then italian bread crumbs. I like shore lunch fish breading from Dick's sporting goods, in the camping section.

Any time you want, access/parking is an issue at some of my spots because of the snow. Arrowhead should be ok though.

My favorite way to cook fish is to first dredge them in flour seasoned with a little salt and pepper. Second go to your egg wash also seasoned with a little salt and pepper. Last go from the egg wash into panko crumbs(Japanese bread crumbs). You can get the panko crumbs at hanaford where the Asian stuff is. That makes the fish nice and crunchy... mmmmmmmmmm

I do the same as tundraboy.

Like the panko pretty well.  Also like the good 'ol fashioned corn meal in place of the panko.

can't beat the dredge, hog wash, bread prep, for crispy fried fish.

Cabelas's southern style fish batter mix, mixed up with beer.  Gotta love beer batter.

Mmmm... I like to throw beer batter into the recipe mix every now and again too.

A hot "spider"(cast iron frying pan) with some melted butter in it. Take a plastic baggie & put in a handful of flour & a shake or 2 of salt & pepper. Take the fillets & pat them dry on a towel , drop in the bag, shake to coat, & put into the hot buttered pan & fry, turn after a minute & wait another minute or so.(depending on thickness you understand), then take them out & eat. Make sure the folks are standing in line & are eating as ya go..  You can 't go wrong until ya run out of fish fillets...

Yes, there are added spices & dips (like tartar sauce/cocktail sauce/etc) & such to add. But this is the best way to cook fish & please everyone.

Except, a vegetarian...THWT...
;)
Very simple to try it...You might be surprised...
Good Luck!

I forgot to add... Make sure that you , as the "chef"', get the chance to sample some each "go-round", for 2 reasons, 1) so you get to eat some fish, & 2) You wouldn't want anyone to "die" or something...Gotta make sure things are ok for the In'laws...
