Looking to get into some white fishing action this hard water season on lakes around South Central sask (long lake, Diefenbaker, etc.) Any tips or information anyone has would be appreciated

I think guys get into them on blackstrap and Iroquois.   They net whites out of Lenore as well so should be able to catch them.  Whites bite just about anything up here but small silver spoons and wire worms seem to work best.

I have found that the whites that I am not targeting will hit my swivel a lot.  As well, my buddy catches them by pounding the bottom with pieces of minnow on a small jig.  There are a lot of them in Dief, A LOT.
Get outside.  It does a body and mind good!
