Im gonna say the bro's gill getter. Works for all types of panfish, especially gills and crappie, and I've landed alot of 2+lb bass with it as well. I prefer orange..

I'd have to say, probably some solder-drops (soldered tear-drops) and a buttload of nail polish in varying colors.

  • The secret to fishing...fish where the fish are.

These and the tiny tears have always been my go to gill jigs. Out performs anything else I have tried hands down. 90% of the time it's 'C'...other 10% 'A' or 'R'

  • I see 'em!!
Last winter we found ourselves needing to go smaller and smaller with our presentations and the tear drops were the "go-to".  We absolutely hammered the crappie with them, large slabs too.

When absolutely nothing else would work last year the gold Genz Ice Worm with the XL hook on it always came through. Unfortuntely they do not make it in that color any more. Figure when I find something that really works.

Swedish Pimple in the Hammered Copper. Tipped with a meal worm and it catches Pike,Trout,Perch,Bass and Lake trout. A lot of the time on the drop or just as it stops.
