The dates for this years outing will be from Wed march 8Th to Sat. the 12Th leaving on Sunday.
IT WILL BE AT LAWRENCES LAKE SIDE CABINS IN ROCKWOOD

Special pricing for this year (thanks Bob) FOR PEOPLE STAYING 3 NIGHTS THE FORTH NIGHT IS GOING TO BE FREE.
This is going to be a 4 night trip..
(you don't have to go all 4 night )I only have the house resv.. for this year. The house Accommodates up to 12. If we get enough people I will try to resv a cabin as well. The price is going to be 35.00 a night per person. Iam going to start taking dep anytime. It is going to set up like years past first come first serve .(when I rec the dep) any Ice Shanty member is welcome and their guest. Ice Shanty members from other states are welcome to join us as well , you can send me your dep to.
This is the week of the Rockwood Ice fishing as well.

It is going to be on a first come first basic.
CHECK IN TIME IS 3;OOPM I will talk to bob on to see if we can get into the house any earlier . if you get there early on wed you can park at the boat launch and fish from their.It has a large parking lot. If we cant get into the house
Bob has asked that if you can please bring sleeping bags but bedding will be supplied

it was a great time. thank you to linguini for the invite and Dave number 2 for the use of the sled. Linguini has been keeping the moosehead torch lite for 10 yrs and I applaud him for that. I was talking to him this last trip he is thinking of giving it up. the amount of participation has gone down and he cant keep paying more that his fair share. im just putting it out there so we can rally up the troops and make this trip a great success and keep the tradition alive for more yrs to come.

Come on guys lets hear some suggestions! What would it take to get you to go on this trip next March?? If you've never been ,you're missing out. My son and I joined them a few years ago, and we had a blast. We'd like to go again next year , but really need more people to make it successful. So let's hear ideas and suggestions!
