Baitcast Reel ?
« on: Mar 05, 2005, 09:40 PM »
Does anyone know of a small baitcast reel suitable for ultra light use?  Most of the baitcast reels I have had are crap, but I would really like to find one for use on an UL rod with 2# line and Maramoska(sp) or Maramish jigs. Ifind spinning reels give me twists or kinks or else a spinning jig,I've tried diff brands of line and inline swivels but, can't seem to eliminate it. I think a small baitcast would get away from that. I have no problem with spinning reels on larger(heavier) jigs with 6 or 8# test. I was searching back in previous posts and noticed several members were going to try some newer baitcast reels-what were they like? Thanks :)
