Well, forgot my bait AGAIN!!!!

What the heck am I going to have to do to remember it.  I drove all the way out to my spot unloaded all my stuff and even walked across the lake.  Only to find that once again I forgot my bait.  This is the second time I have forgotten it.  I need a gigantic GOT BAIT? sticker for my bucket or something.  Anyone else have this problem?

I remembered my minnows this past weekend but forgot my spikes, mealworms and trout worms at home in the fridge, I called my friend who was running a little late and he swung by my house and picked it up for me.

reminds me of this weekend at the Sebago Lake lake trout derby...these guys came over to us and said they had just driven over an hour.to fish the derby and drove out onto the ice only to find out that no of them had put there augers in there trucks..LOL   LouAlbano(a Maine board member) graciously told them to take his new Jiffy stealth and have at it....They brought it back a little while later and couldn't thank him enough..THATS WHAT ICEFISHING IS ALL ABOUT!

Wow, that sucks.  When I go fishing, I always make sure I have the basics - rod/tipups, tackle, bait, waders (open water) whatever.  Same with hunting - gun, shells, orange/camo clothes.  Of course, I have never forgot that stuff, but did forget thermos, boots, wallet, etc.

One time I was catching a flight to Alaska for a fishing trip and didn't have my driver's license.  I got a copy of it faxed to me.  Try getting on a coast to coast flight with a fax of your license in the post 911 era!  Lots of begging, persuading, sucking up.  I was ready to bribe! :whistle:

Funny part is, I had all my fishing gear! ;)

I found that if I put a note with the word “BAIT” with my keys and wallet, I don’t forget the bait at least.

I was in a goose blind with a guy who did that.  Geese came in, we all jumped up.  Boom,boom,boom.....  When everything settles down, this guys is cussing because he didn't load his gun!  We hunt and fish with him all the time.... and he gets reminded about this a lot.

I know a guy who spent a whole WEEK in hunting camp and didn't even realize he had forgotten his gun.  ::)
Man did he have a lot of 'splainin' ta do when he got HOME!!  :o

i have forgottenalmost everything in my truck more than once.......but never the bait

i usually forget the time when i'm fishing.  i tormented my mother with my memory lapses since i was old enough to go by myself, and now my wife doesn't even ask when i'm going to be home.  she sticks to general things, like "are you eating here tonight?" and i give general answers.  she knows getting a time from me is useless, so she has never tried.

My brother and I hiked back into a local pond, only to find out he forgot the bait at his house. Luckly I had my jig rod to jig up some burps (perch) to put on the tipups.

I have both neoprene and stockingfoot type.  I hunt ducks in the winter too and have waded up to my waist to put out decoys when the first skim if ice had to be broken to get them in.  Then you go out every hour or so and break up the ice again.  And this I call fun! ;D :thumbsup: :wacko:

Ooops.... maybe this isn't the right place to be talking about breaking up the ice..... :-X

Bobs bait in taunton has the Got Bait stickers might help you to remember lol ;D

I have gone hunting and a mile down the road remmebred my gun!!!  never forgot bait, but I ahve forgoten minnows for tipups, but they are just a sideline fore me, I love em, but I jig more
