My 2nd biggest ever. No exact measurements or weight, had no tape or scale. I guestamated it around 40", 20 lbs. Sound about right ?

let her go eh? i just want 1 40"+ for the wall then the rest of the big girls can go back...smaller ones eat better anyway...beautiful fish. what body of water?

Couldn't figure out how to put it on here from my phone. Is that thing plump or what ? Funniest thing about it was I caught her while being checked by 2 eco's and one of them took the pic for me.

Yeah I put her back. I just got the mount back of the one in my avatar. Next one I keep would have to be bigger than her.

I got one like that on oneida lake NY
& in fact that how I got my nick here on hard water because I dont tip up fish just jig
I was on a boat when I got her & was going to put her in the livewell & I said buddy open the live well & she heard that & said Baby I am outta here & I lost my grip on her & she went in back of the moter & I tailed her & I fell in the livewell & said HELP Ive falllien & I cant get up LOl my pot belly was stuck in the live well so how about that LOL
now you know the rest of the story

That thing looks like an engorged tick about to pop. What a tank!. Wouldn't be surprised if there were a bass, walleye or two in that belly. Sweet fish!

Wow. Great catch!! To say that I'm jealous, would be an understatement. I've never caught anything that big, no matter what season I've been fishing. Good for you.

Thanx Mr. Toner I figure I gota shoot for a monster to keep up with ya, are they havin the tourney this weekend.

Thanx for for the kind words guys. The fish could have been 38 to 42 and 18 to 21lbs so I figure somewhere inbetween sounds good. The pic really doesn't do it justice. It definately had more girth than the one on my wall, its just a chubby pike its stomach just falls out of its throat !

A real ironic catch for me like I said I just got my mount back last week and I caught that one. Within a week of this one 2 years ago . Oh well I'm blabing away here. I guess I'm glad to share the pic with everyone here.
