I have a MarCum digital sonar that shoots through the ice to tell the depth of the water. I've had it for about 10 years and love using it. It recently went underwater for less than 1 minute. After getting it dried out, it would not work, even after putting in a new battery. I emailed MarCum telling them what happened, and they quickly replied back that the cost to FIX OR REPLCE IT was only $50 standard flat rate plus $8 shipping - with a 2-3 day turnaround! To me, this is great customer service in an era where we selden get what we think we should. I just wanted to put out a quick note to say "Kudos to MarCum", one of this site's supporters.
