Weather Rant!

Got up early to give it a try this morning and the wind is 30MPH with gust to 44MPH. Shows snow on the weather map in the Black Hills. I must be getting old cause I'm just going back to bed.

The camper is parked in front of the house loaded and ready to head to the boysen derby. 30+ mph winds predicted in shoshoni today. they are going to have to start without me. im off till thursday afternoon .I can wait

I need new blades anyway. Heading to RC tomorow, if they don't have swedish blades I'll be ticked. Guy there didn't seem overly confident... May have to order direct from Strikemaster and w-a-i-t for the delivery...  sigh...

check the rooster he had alot of strike master blades last sat. I had to get a new chipper blade for mine after one trip to pathfinder with all the sand thats on that ice. he has really good minnows too  I wish we had a store like that here in gillette

Roosters is a good idea. I'll swing by there first since I'd like to see some "real" minnows anyway lol

IT WAS THE RIGHT DECISION...I made a run to the mail box @ two and made a pass thru Pine Haven & thw West end.   The west end was ground blizzrd with white out across the entire bay.... Mule Creek was much the same.  Everyone was smart & stayed home today...didnt see a single person out today.

I wanted to sight in my bow this weekend as all the ice around here is crap. But anything past 30 yards is scetchy in this wind.

Ya, that's what the weather man said but there was hardly a light breeze all weekend on Boysen. Couldn't have asked for nicer weather....even got a tan...
