Post by: 7 plus larry on Dec 12, 2011, 06:42 PM
Anyone fish this place? Thinking about giving it a shot once we get some ice. And what is in it for fish? Any and all help is much appreciated.  Thanks

In the summer, I have caught a lot of Pike and Largemouth along with perch and sunfish...

I had two decent trips there last year on early ice.  Caught a bunch of small pike and a few nice bass.  The weeds were super thick and reached all of the way to the ice until we got out to ~10' deep.  2nd trip we spent some time looking for perch but never found anything to get excited about.

there are also crappie and bowfin in there, not sure if people catch bowfin through the ice though.
