32" st croix premier medium or jason mitchell 30" medium?

i cant decide between the two...i need it for using #7 and #9 jigging raps that are hopefully connected with large great lakes walleyes...any thoughts?

Not a fan of the Premier so I would push you towards the Mitchells. I have been using them for a few seasons now and they are a quality rod. They also have a better warranty then the St Croix

It's all a personal choice.  The St. Croix premier mediums tend to bit a little more stiff compared to most other mfg medium power rods.

Love my st. croixs but really just got turned onto the new frabill hunter and bro rods.

I looked at both rods and ended up going out of the box with the White Noise 28" medium. It's a fantastic rod and has great backbone with a really sensitive fast tip. I got it at gander mountain. It's worth consideration in your choices I'd say if you can't quite make-up your mind.

How big of eyes are going after? I would recommend 32"+, I have a st croix 32" and 36", a jason mitchelle 38" and a quantum 42". I almost always go for the 36" and bigger rods if they are around, I still like my 32" but I dont use it as much as the others.

I never touch my 24-28" rods anymore unless im targeting smaller fish.
