Very Nice fish! Congrats on the record. I grew up down that way and used to fish kinderhook a lot as a kid. Haven't fished there in years, although my brother fishes it a lot in summer for bass.
If I remember correctly, Kinderhook held the state record for crappie for a long while back then. guess it got it back!!!

There was an article in the paper this past week confirming the record. Talked to my buddy that lives on Kinderhook. He said he has never seen so many guys on the ice in all the years of living there. Hmm wonder why?

Does anyone do actual fish mounts? I think that would be worth it. Especially when its the real thing, and not a 3d rendering. Beautiful fish.

I've caught many crappie over 16" and over 4 lbs. what's the state record? saw some one catch one almost 20" on Chautauqua 2 years ago don't know how much it weighed.
