2019-20 NE WI ice reports
« on: Dec 02, 2019, 11:09 AM »
Went by Shawano Lake this morning and had my trusty spud with me, heard there was a couple guys out over the gun season so I took a check. The rain kind of wrecked the ice near shore I got a wet foot getting on. The further out I went the better the ice got. Surprised I was to see about 5-6 inches of ice and 2 inches of slush ice where I checked 50 yards offshore in Cecil bay. The weather looks good for solidifying everything. Be safe!

What's cooler than being cool? Ice cold

Thanks for the update.  Finally free this weekend and figure there's a sweet spot between Green Bay and the north woods with some ice that didn't get quite as much snow as they did way up north.

Duck Creek off 41 had about 2.5-3” of ice. The landing was real shotty, about 14” of slush from the wind blowing water over. But real solid ice past that. Some guys went out. I will wait for 3-4”
