Jiffy Clutch Springs

I figure if anyone can help it would be on this board.  Not having much luck in New England.

Does anyone know where these springs for a Jiffy Legend 31 can be bought?  Can not locate anywhere.  Seems crazy that the only solution is to buy an entire clutch assembly for $60 when all that is needed is a spring that should be less than $5.  Have tried Dag's in Auburn, ME which was mentioned in previous posts.  They no longer carry.  Also have message in to Jiffy.   Thanks for any help.

You will need to take a good one and try to match it close.
Stiker has them separate at $23 so basically the same end result ... not cost effective

Thanks Frog Eyes.  Great thread you provided.  Spells out the problem exactly.  I will post when I find the best economical solution.

I was looking for springs as well, searched everywhere...

I found a few references to Comet clutch springs from a Ski Doo Mini Z, Red to be exact.

Lots of more searching found this page.

I just ordered two red springs, hope that solves my problems.

Unfortunately these springs are too long.  They don't compress the clutch enough.
