Title: Ice Conditions on Country Pond?
Post by: NH Trout Fisherman on Feb 23, 2008, 06:11 PM
Hey Guys,

Next weekend I'll be taking my nephew fishing out on Country Pond with his Boy Scout Troop.  Has any one been out there recently?
I used to fish it years back when I was in the troop 15+ years ago but havent been there in a couple years. The troop usually stays at the Lone Tree scout camp and I used to do pretty well with the bass and picks out on that end.  Any recent reports? ;)

Thanks --NHTF

The ice is a little sloppy along the shore but plenty safe, I like fishing behind the island to hide from the wind. Lots of nice perch and crappy as well as bass and picks, perfect for the troops lots of flags to chase. Dukes stateline store has minnows hes is just down the road from counrty pond, plus the coldest beer in town! Have fun.
