Last minute evening outing produced these two aquarium sized walleyes, my first ones of the year.
Didn't expect much from that spot on ice, was there more to mark some depths of where I catch most of my biggest carp in open water every season.
Brought along rods hoping there were still some walleye left there, but keeper sizes have been fished out by the hook and cook gangs years ago.
