Angola fishing
« on: Jan 27, 2022, 10:49 AM »
so its been a few years being out and between my 5,3,1 and 3 month old not a lot of time to scout but I,m trying to have a date night saturday with my wife for the first time in months and she wants to try ice fishing for the first time. Any good ice and suggestions on where to try thats safe for her, because she is a little nervous?

Gonna be tough with the fluctuating weather and cold temps. I would try george or long lake. Clear has been very slow the last week and dont see it getting better this weekend unless you wanna fish 4 hours into the night for one walleye on a tip up.

Remember to bring your spud. You're probably more than alright in most spots but you never know. God forbid if something were to happen she'll never want to venture out to ice fish again.

Good luck!

thank you both, the last thing I is for either one of us to go in and I have my spikes and spud ready. I think she will love it once she tries it.
