Title: April 1st Ice Fishing or Stream Trout fishing?

I can't remember an April fools season opener quite like this one.

Beautiful day to be on a low water stream before spring rains turn it into a raging torrent.
Beautiful day to still get on the ice at several higher elevation water bodies.

With such tough choices, what did you do on April 1st?
(Or, since this was also a Friday, what are the weekend plans)?

Today, Saturday, by the looks of things outside my window . . .
. . . not much of anything.

Looks like our April Fools came a day late this year  :(

Ice was long gone around here (Long Island), so we fished in Massapequa Reservoir for three nice Brown Trout -- THEN -- we fshed a local LI canal for a couple of nice fat Flounder, one of which went 16inches !!!  THERE IS NO "OFF" SEASON !!!

caught 1 nice brown on a catskills trib 19 inches beutifull color .

i dont know about the rest of the state but we did both today man it was nasty

  I went to Indian Lake(icefishing) friday April 1st.No fish.While out there,I felt I should`ve tried stream fishing instead.But, it was nice to have gotten out on the ice on April 1st!!!Wished I could`ve picked up one more nice fish from there though.Oh well,next year!!!!Now flyfishing is inorder!!!!   <*)(((((((((((<Fish on!!! :'( ;) :)
