I finally made it out today for the first time on a private lake in Northern Fairfield County. I had just less than 5 inches of black and snow ice at the beach with maybe another 2 inches of snow on top and as I walked out it got down to around 3.5. It felt solid with the spud, no cracking. I squeezed it in this morning before work, was only able to fish for less than an hour.
How are the rest of the lakes in the area looking and based on what we currently have do you think they will hold up over the weekend in this area?
