Hey Holehawg....just wanted to let ya know.....I got out on the Delaware this morning down in NJ with a buddie of mine. got 3 eyes between 15" and 17" and lost a few more........ fished from 5:30am till about 10am. Nothing on tip ups....all caught jigging

its gonna be highland lake or delaware river cove sunday....not sure which.....awesome ya got into some wallys hammer...

Yeah I get lucky once in awhile....lol Hopefully we don't get to much rain with this storm......otherwise the ice will go...at least where I fish.....only 3"-4" as of this morning

Freezing rain here in Forestburgh and a solid coat of ice everywhere at 31 degrees. I think we are OK for now and the temps are supposed to remain below 32 most of this week with some lows in the teens so we are making ice.

My fingers are crossed for being on the ice when 2010 arrives.

gonna head out tomorrow to try out the new Lighthouse I think at Prompton Dam...if the ice isn't good and safe, I'll come home and work on the house some more....hopefully it is good....gotta go get loaded up and ready...

wouldn't doubt it the pond out back is looking awful spongy! have this week off and was hoping to do some fishin' and maybe chase a few deer with the smokepole.
