Had to try today walked out about 10 feet.I'm not drilling a hole yet.Few more cold nights should be fishing soon in a few select places.

Don't wquote me but heard there were people ice fishing on shawano lake last week already out by Cecil.  Now thats hardcore! :D

You can quote me ;D They've been out there for a week... went yesterday on shawano there is 6 inches of ice in most places. Caught a couple northern... walleye action has been slow. :'( Be careful!

in central mn we've been out almost 2 weeks now.  plenty of ice for fourwheelers and my uncle said he even saw a 3/4 ton pickup on the ice a couple nights ago.  we have been catching quite a few walleyes on rush lake and big pine in ottertail county.

Houghton lake mich. I saw some guys out off of the south shore a lottle while ago. 2 groups probably 6 total. I havn't had the guts yet or the time? I also saw some little kids out there playing-scares me.

we need snowcover up here in fairbanks before the ice gets too thick, we have some but could do with more, probably around 18 inches now afer the 20-40 below we have been having ;D

Went out Saturday, good 11" of ice here in Southern Alberta :P. Good catch of Perch. Will post some pics soon. 8)
