I'll be there Saturday, and depending on the fishing, will stay till Sunday morn. What time is everyone meeting @ the boat ramp? How thick is the ice? Fish biting?

i was planing coming up on Friday second time I've been to Boysen first time ice fishing i was hopeful that i could find some persons to fish i have most of the tools but very little knowledge so this will be a great opportunity for me. Not sure what time ill get their I'm traveling from Torrington. plan to leave here around 7 if everything works out for me. Is their a nice place to stay around their?

Motels in Riverton and Shoshoni. Don't know how nice the one in Shoshoni is but it's closer than Riv.

I havent fished that much at Boysen, but it will be great to have others out there too.

So what does a hut party consist of??

I dont have a hut, but it looks like it will be nice enough to not need one, and my flags should be going up non stop so I wont have time to sit down either.

I ahve never had a very good day there. Got a 5 lb walleye and a 10 inch perch.

The party is fishing but its more about meeting folks, lots to eat and learning. The fishing is tough for everyone this year. Our temp was -12 on the lake last night and it will be close to that again tonight. We are 7 now 5:40pm

Has anyone caught enough fish on Boysen to know what kind of jigs the perch/walleye are biting on? What about at night? Anyone there tonight? Thinking of leaving tonight.

got a four pound brown at wedding of the waters today, but wasnt mush ice there. hehe.

I will be in the Gold Subaru, cant wait to meet you guys tommorow.
