Finally here the cold we needed!!!!  4* here gonna get the spud out today !!  Only had a inch couple days ago, will be on the ice this week !!

Been finding a couple of lakes with fishable ice...the fish haven't been cooperating though. Getting a few but a tough bite. My go to lakes will be ready soon.

Walked on my canal and lake today after getting home from work. Solid clear 3". Looks to be about the clearest ice I've ever seen. Now, do I have time before 10:00 am to head out and setup the portable and try to spear a pike....hmmmm.....

.       With little to no ice, that’s a question to ask in a pm , much more likely to get a response. Now if ice was a foot thick I don’t think guys would think twice as dropping a name, have to remember this is the internet. I know this is to help everyone but with so little ice most are tight lipped.
