Post by: swampbuckster on Jan 14, 2019, 08:58 PM: Walked on my canal and lake today after getting home from work. Solid clear 3". Looks to be about the clearest ice I've ever seen. Now, do I have time before 10:00 am to head out and setup the portable and try to spear a pike....hmmmm.....

. With little to no ice, that’s a question to ask in a pm , much more likely to get a response. Now if ice was a foot thick I don’t think guys would think twice as dropping a name, have to remember this is the internet. I know this is to help everyone but with so little ice most are tight lipped.
