That thar is a mess of good eating and nearly 3#s heavier than the current WR!!!     :clap: :thumbsup: :bow:

I had good luck for Burbs on Takhini R. here in Whitehorse, but the ice was so full of sand I didn't even get all 10 holes in for my set lines before the blades were too dull to cut.  I wonder how they're getting around that on the Mackenzie?  Thinner ice in November I suppose anyways...

Get yourself an auger with chipper blades.
The shaver type blades dull quickly in sandy ice.
You can pick up a new auger for your current powerhead.  ;)

WOW! Drifter that is an awsome fish. congrats. Terry is impressed with your WR. I hear its -40c up there today,now thats cold. I am expecting you to put some entries in the shanty derby maybe the grandpa burbot. Tight lines.

well drifter nice to know there there anyway. Supposed to be warming up this coming week +4 temps around here so good time to make up for lost time on the ice. Tight lines.
