Hi All,
Our local community charity "Between the Cracks" is sponsoring their yearly ice fishing tourney for Feb 2ND... 10 bucks per person... prizes for biggest fish per category, the best cook and raffles too! Can't get any better than that! Location? Crystal Lake at the golf course on RT 102 Bronco Hwy Burrillville...Make a note for this one... BE THERE!!!

Great tourney for an awesome cause- will be there as usual! This tourney and the Gridiron Tourney (2 weeks later) are a blast and a must attend if you've never gone before. You will be hooked...

I was asked by a close friend (Gerry F) to post about the Crystal Lake "Between the Cracks" tourney. He can't remember his iceshanty password

and isn't good with computers

so I said I would post some info for him. Since cold ice Steve already has a post about this same subject I thought a reply will keep this thread going. Tourney is still planned for FEB. 2ND.

Great cause to help out the comunity and always a great time..

How do you register for this? Sounds like a great time and the ice should be solid by then.

You can register the day of the tourney at crystal lake country club. $10- per person, the ice held up thru the warm snap we had and was checked the other day(4") so we should be good with 2 weeks of cold weather.

The Golf Course is located off of RT. 102. Look to the right of the parking lot for the sign up area... Get there before 7:00, the starting time. Last year it was cancelled due to NO ICE

I would estimate that this event will be well attended and the $10.00 fee is a bargain... A great event for a great charity.

I'm hoping I will attend to this tourney. If i attend to tourney I hoping someone will willing to be around me because I'm deaf and I couldn't being hear if someone winner or me winner. At Wilson lake tourney, they did advantage me, they was saying that my weight are lighter than other and I asked what my weight and they say different than what I saw the weight. I was pissed off and I have no one witness with me. so I hoping someone around here not mind help me out. I did met BassRI, and few other guys I couldn't remember their names.

Anyways I will post again if I'm attend this tourney for sure and hoping will meet some new faces and old faces that I met some guys 2 years ago on this tourney.

All weights are on the up and up and all entries are weighed with the same scale... I'm sure that you can hook up with someone or fish near some one, it's hard not to! The event gets lots of attention..

The name crystal lake was tagged by the owner of the golf course... Google: Crystal Lake Golf Course and you'll find it. That's where we park for the tourney..

Some people also call it Brothers pond. Charo I met you and your brother on Wilson's a few years back . I came over to you and your brother in your tent. I showed you guys my Vexilar sonar and gave you guys a few jigging lures. Your can hang out with our group at Tourney

That's what we all called it...it's name though is Sucker Pond but I can't for the life of me understand why!!

They were out on Wilsons and Spring Lake yesterday... today with this wind... I'm not sure but after next week everything will be fine

There is just about everything except no pike.

Money fish for tourney last time was bass, perch, and pic's.

I don't think there is a limit,Big show. They did limit the amount of tip-ups per person from 5 to 3 in the last tournament(2 years ago)but that was to save space.The more people that attend-the better for the charity..
