Boysen Ice report

Well looks like it has started thin layer with ducks and geese floating in the open parts but for dang sure not fishable yet just a start.

Did you see a thin layer at your honey hole or back in the bay?

All of the small ponds are iced over in Big Horn county.  I haven't seen anyone on them yet though.

ICEMAN going acrossed the cazway (sp) in the open I imagine the bay's are getting there if the open is turning solid ;D can't wait!! It's coming fast before we know it we'll be crying around that the sides are getting soft.....

I have a buddy that lives right there in the valley and he called me yesterday to let me know there fishing in poison creek bay on 4" to 6" in. of ice. :clap: :clap: :thumbsup:

Hey fishlord, have you heard anything on Ocean ice? We did good up there last year but it was late in January.

no ice there yet but with this cold that finally set in, it should start building quick now.we fished it last season and done really well.LT is the man to talk to about that lake,he's the one that got me to go there just by reading his posts.I cant wait to get there this season

I've been ice fishing on Kane Cemetary Pond, although there is only 3" of clear ice. Fishing is slow.

I got a deer, a turkey, and a mess of pheasants. I'll tell you about it when we get to Boysen.  I'm trying to get all my gear and my crew lined up for ice fishing.  My new auger came today, Jiffy Stealth Pro.  Looks like we'll leave next Thurs.  Not sure yet.  I'll let you know.

4 to 8 inches in poison creek. lots of fishermen too.  Careful as several springs are keeping small parts of bay open and ice around springs is obviously not safe  :'(
