Just a few short miles from our beloved Boysen.  Rain, drizzle and wetness a melting the snow like crazy.  I  don't remember a rain on January 17th.  Anyone else around here remember one??

Might have to get the motorcycle out and see if I can pack enough gear on it to fish for the day.
Take a kid fishing, they make great pack mules.
Put the big ones back for another day eat the small ones.

Yea, 13 years ago we went to pahaska teepee for new years on a 3 day snowmachine package deal and on the morning of newyears they closed the park down cuz it was rainning cats and dogs like you wouldnt beleive. we opened up the door of our little shack there and we had a river running down the road that cut a 2' deep x4' wide trench in the snow.they give us a refund and sent us home.

37 and light rain here, I don't know if this week will be cold enough to make it worth a ice fishing trip to glendo this weekend.
