Great idea! We could all send in our favorite lure(s) dependent on how many squares we buy. Maybe have a maximum of say 2 squares per person? I would definitely participate, although I wouldn’t need 100 new jigs added to my box lol. Hopefully we can make this happen!

I hope that the OP can make this happen. Clearly there is enough interest. I think it is not just a matter of establishing the rules and having the stuff sent out. It is also possible to do a virtual board. I.E. people take a picture of the Jigs they intend to put on the board, the OP assigns the placement per screen name. Once the game is over the winners can be assigned the appropriate number of jigs associated with said screen names and those folks could get a PM with that winners address so as to ship directly to them . Little more moving parts that way but it eliminates a middle man. Just an idea.

We are 2 spots from full with a couple maybes still deciding. If we run out of pods picked near the very end I will finish out till we have awarded the 15,20,15,50.
Remember when your pod gets picked you are responsible to ship to party who won it. If you win they are responsible to ship to you. Make a 10X10 grid just like the numbers with 100 boxes and put the home team (designated TB Bucs) this year above it . The visitors KC will go on the left side of box going down.
When numbers get drawn for game TB numbers go far left on top of box Left to right. KC top to bottom from left side of box. To determine if you win a quarter,halftime,quarter, final use the number for teams score if team has 10 or more pts. use only the last digit. A score of Tampa Bay 14 KC 7 would use the 4 from TB top of grid and 7 from KC top to bottom side of grid. Scott has said he would draw the numbers 0-9 for teams.
Study others pod to get the jig/jigs you have to try/use.

Round 1 The winner of first qtr. will pick all 5 jigs (pod) from anyone. At half time that winner will pick some ones 5 jigs (pod) same for third qtr. winner and then final winner
The second round begins after the game but in reverse order Winner, 3rd qtr winner, half time winner first qtr. winner
3rd round goes just like first round
4th round winner picks pod of then halftime picks 5
Round 5 winner gets the rest

Dr. Speckler and Iceassin The person who holds the last number of Home team ( Tampa Bay ) and the last number of visiting team KC will win the first quarter. This will be the the first winner out of 4. They will then pick somebody's whole pod of jigs ( all 5 ) At that point the first quarter winner will have picked 5jigs ( Pod ) out of 15 jigs they already won. When someone selects your pod ( all 5 jigs ) that is who you send all your jigs to.
If you make a 10X10 boxed grid with 100 squares in it Tampa Bays numbers will go above the Box over squares 1-10 using # 0-9

yeah i lost them in a very unfortunate boating accident..lol if i won id be after the hali pod.those things are pricey.the jigs i put up are my five go to jigs for gill,speck and perch.

Absolutely! I've been on a mid-summer (July) mid-day bite for crappies about halfway down in 12 -14 FOW. Just jigging vertically over the side of the boat, watching my locator and cracking fish. Not timid dinks either. 12 - 14"ers that just about take the rod out of your hand on the cloudy days. Sunny days you gotta tease 'em up just like ice fishing. Not mini lures either, size was a #5 JR or #2 Moonshine Shiver Minnow.

Ok, I am back from my trip to Cascade Lake Id.
I was able to catch fish with at least one jig from each person I received them from. I had a blast and while I was the ONLY person that did not catch a 2lb perch :'(. I caught a ton of fish and lots in the 1.5 to 1.94LB rage. So, that was a really fun trip. Thanks again everyone!

This is how it worked last year and I thought it worked well so we will do it that way again.
First all depends on how many people are in this year. Dependent on that each person will pick a certain number of squares.
Each participant will also supply a group of jigs/lures. Required qty will be decided after I know how many people will be in this year.
Each winner of each qtr will then pick a group of jigs/lures from the lot and the person with those jigs/lures is responsible for mailing them to the winner.
As of now, we have 15 people.

The Super bowl may have traffic problems if the truckers block all highways in and out like they are doing at Detroit and Buffalo bridge crossings. How will the fans and players get to the stadium. That's the concern right now in LA.

Id like to know where to send my jigs..if we do this next year we need to make sure prizes are picked within a day or 2.seems it drags on for weeks after.

I completely agree. I think next year I will do a random drawing for the winners and then just have them automatically go to that winner. No more picking.
I am trying to be nice and let some other people that have done this both years without winning get some prizes, but I am about to say send everything to me just to get this over with.

Have a suggestion or 2 concerning next year’s SuperBowl myself…
# 1 being Scott (or perhaps a Mod not in the pool) pull the numbers. This is how the original pool last year was setup.
We were all under the assumption, at least I was, that is how the numbers were drawn as requested by OG last year…apparently that wasn’t case last year or this one if I understand correctly. Nobody playing or running the pool should solely have that task.
# 2 …winners receive what’s coming to them. If you want to split the winnings anyway you feel comfortable, do it…after you receive them, or, work something out with someone to send their jigs to such & such as your gift. Believe that will eliminate half the confusion?

You did great, random numbers are what they are no matter who pulls them, tough to get someone else to do them when everything is done online and people are spread out across the country.

I think I have officially received everyone's jigs and I just want to say THANK YOU to all of you that participated. Sorry for the difficult ending this year. Will be better next year. Stay safe on the ice as it begins to thaw and good luck in the open water!
