Probably a swedish pimple. Fish it plain with a minnow head or whole minnow. Or put 3" dropper below it for finicky perch/walleye. Or put a small lure/fly above it (6-12") with a small minnow or waxie/spike, can catch just about anything that swims. Good search lure, too.

Plain and simple...

Sweedish Pimple Jig, color changes from day to day tipped with whatever the fish are hungary for. Somedays a minnow, night crawler or leech.

But I prefer a live minnow for Ice fishing!

my 2 cents,
Stevo

I mostly fish gills and crappie, depends on there mood,if there pounding mood hands down a Frosty or Forage minnow w/ a Tboned wax worm,if there in a negative mood,I'll go to plastic fished clean,Ratso's,but last year the little firetiger size 14 Gill pill tipped w a a mag or two was a awesome lure. My motto is give em' what they want.

I know the hali has been metioned a number of times in this thread but I add a little to it. I tie a dropper  about six inches long off the lil chain. Fathead minnow on the hali hook, three grubs on a bare dropper hook size 1o or smaller. The big lazy perch laying on the bottom are more likely to hit the lil dropper of grubs fluttering every so slowly to the bottom. Bar none the greatest thing I've ever tied on.
The angle of the dangle is directly proportionate to the heat of the beat.

Gills..a Rocker Jig & Spikes
Perch...Forage minnow & Spikes
Crappie.. Live Minnow & gold hook
Eyes...Swedish Pimple & minnow Head

Can you give more details what size & color of Swedish Pimple do you use?
Also how do you play with the jig? I mean how many inches/feet do you lift the rod up and how often?

Thanks a lot
