Fished with my dad and our buddy Wayne. Ice is still holding up really well with about 10 inchs. 2 white and 8 clear. Set up just outside of a shallow bay. Slow day for flags with only 2 in the morning that didn't have anything on the line. Watched a guy fight a fish only to have it get stuck on the bottom and eventually snap the line.The bite picked up in the afternoon when my dad had a flag on a dead bait. But again nothing on the end of his line. As he was setting his tilt back up mine closest to his went off. Didn't miss this one! Just shy of 13lbs. With another hook in its mouth, mb the same one that guy lost?? Wayne had a good burner shortly after but missed the hook set. Hopefully we have another 2 weeks or so of ice!

Very nice pike👍 surprised there isn't more ice out that way. On 9½" right now north central mass. I think we got some weeks left.

Nice fish.  I was hoping to get to onota this weekend.  Sounds like there is still good ice.
