Bait shops
« on: Jan 12, 2022, 08:45 AM »
Any new bait shops open up around worcester?
There used to be a couple now they are sadly gone. Now forced to drive out to milford to get decent size bait. Its a great shop, just a bit of a drive in the wrong direction for me.
Does that guy in millbury still sell shiners? That self serve spot?

The last time I went to that guys place in Millbury was 2019 I believe. I think there’s a place just east of former Barry’s on route 20, on the eastbound side. I went there once, about two years ago. I usually go to fin and feather now, in upton. They are definitely open.

Bob Latour in Dudley, MA on Schofield Ave. He's got a live bait sign on the edge of his yard.

Inflation is 7% maybe inflated bait prices.

Are they still always half dead and covered in sores?

I got some nice pike shiners from fin and feather in upton today. They weren’t terribly expensive. They also sometimes have suckers and always have frozen mackerel and herring, if your body of water allows it.

I drove by ET's in Millbury yesterday and the light was on in the shiner shack. I went last year and it was self serve.
