Southern most ice?

just curious where the most southern lake in the u.s. that has been fished through the ice. Name of town and lake would be great! ;D

5 acre farm pond. joplin mo. but only enough ice 2 times in ten yrs.

I used to live in Haiti for several months and there are montains there that a few friends that have lived there for many years said that they saw snow a time or two there!!!  no ice of course though
