Anyone been to crystal lake:s east end by Beaulah lately?  I've heard two reports in the last three days.  One was that people were fishing, and the other was that there is open water.

I will be driving by Beulah and Benzonia this weekend and will take a look.

bay out in front looked froze to me lots of chuncky float ice that locked up about 1/8 mile out. west end of lake is open .they are having the tourny as far as i know. Big platte is froze well. 5-9" of ice everywhere exept for around river in and outlets.

They are fishing off Crystal Lake Marina.

I Didn't check the ice though.

Joe did you notice any machines out there? Have you got around to lobb rd?

Not sure on Lobb Rd. I only did a swing by the beach.
