Fished Little Sebago today.  There was still safe ice for walking in the lower pond.  The top 8 inches was hard honeycomb, and about 5 inches of clear black ice.
Nobody else was fishing today out there.  The bald eagle found us and hung out in a pine tree close by for a couple hours. So I'd guess there was not many people in the other part of the lake to throw him perch snacks.

I'd suppose there are only a few more days of safe ice there, definitely less than a week before it would be difficult to find good ice.
Thomas Pond in Casco was not fishable, due to it pulling away from shore already.

Guess we gotta go north.

I’m all set with ice fishing not worth the risk. Ice out trolling soon.

I already have my kayak out and on my rack. Took it out yesterday for some largemouth.

Drilled through 2.5 ft of ice in Aroostook County on Saturday.  Going to be awhile before we're trolling.
