Won't be long

Calling for our 1st frost Friday night 29°f, then maybe 2" of snow Saturday. Fri. Sat. Sun. Mon. all low temps below freezing. Hoping for a early winter here in nw Wisconsin. Last year we had some fishable ice by Thanksgiving.

Christmas would be fine with me. I will probably get my shack and gear out of the garage attic in a week or so. December is usually full of deer hunting and family Christmas’s. Christmas Eve is soon enough for me. Definitely won’t be long!

15 deg F tomorrow night.  Already had our first snow down in the valley, but this time it will stick.

My earliest start was Dec 3 on four inches of ice.  Would be cool to beat that, but anything in December is good for me.  My deer hunt is Nov 1-14 so plenty to do in the meantime.

Down to 17 Thurday night and rain/snow mixed. That is the lower elevations. It has already snowed several times in the mountains.

Winter storm warning posted for a large area of Wyoming on Wednesday and Thursday. Lows around my town will be 16, 10, and 18 degrees Wednesday through Friday. Nearby Big Horn mountains will see lows of 5, 4, and 11.

its 25 now with a high of 33 expected and a low of 13 tonight, won't be too long if the temps stay like this.

I hope it won't be too long, but our water temps here in central Pennsylvania are still in the mid to upper 60's.  So I think we'll be waiting quite a while yet.

It has been snowing on and off here since yesterday. But nothing really to speak of sticking on the ground so far here around Hayward WI. 35°f right now.
