Albert Lea Lake
« on: Feb 01, 2015, 08:33 AM »
Was wondering if there are any fish in this lake. Every time I go across it on I-35 there are no people on it. Even in summer there are no boats. What is the deal with this lake?

It is shallow and subject to frequent winter kill. Last year was pretty hard on the lake. Mostly bullheads and perch in the lake and when they do get a decent class year of fish they get hammered pretty hard. It's been like that as long as I can remember.
