Nice fish Pooch, Racer Snagger and Fillet!

Going to be fun this weekend.  8 3/4 inches of snow in Cicero since I cleaned the driveway last night!

Pooch, Racer - good job on those eyes.  I'm going to get there, yet, this year.  Awesome, you made a plan and it worked out.

We got 8" in Constantia. It's gonna be a tough go for the 4 wheelers for a little while. That warm up next week should help.

Wheelers certainly a no go on south shore.  Drifting makes it hard to tell but looks like 10".  Some drifts pretty big.

it's going to be tough going for even the sleds here on the south shore. hard to tell how much snow we got, but the drifts are huge !! my driveway is gone 4' drifts across it.
my buddy fished yesterday. he said there is alot of big slush pockets. hopefully next weeks weather will help.   Sully...

Fresh foot of snow easy in Cleveland, doesn't look like i'm taking the lake to work with the sled today. Four wheelers and sleds with low clearance will be tough till trails are made. Snowmobiles with high suspensions and studded tracks should be good, old guys bring your nitro pills if you are walking.

I hear you. We are going up the 22nd. Got cheap rooms in h2otown
Little less than my drive to Oneida. Hope I get one. Let alone what you
And racer did. Any other perch numbers? Wonder how the traveling was too?

Perch were steady and small, nothing big enough for us to keep. Traveling was tough, recommend a sled.

Just took a rip to the Stanch and back . Foot plus snow plus drifts . Coming over the hood of the sled . Slush is starting to build in spots god forbid you lose momentum . Your done ! Walking on trails may be possible still would give it a day or so . Unless your young .     For those who park along lake and dead end roads remember most are plow and school bus turn arounds . Please use courtesy when parking trailers and vehicles .  They can't get thru tickets and tow are not out of the question . Don't ruin it for others we've lost enough access .

Yeah Dan I just went out behind Vella's in Cleveland and the snow is going over the windshield, not a soul on the ice here. I have a good 2-up with high clearance and I thought I was going to bury it. How the hell did you make it to town and back you crazy old man lol.

Polaris Sprint 340 two cylinder two carb fan cool right to the grip .Carrying A crippled up Sasquatch LOL smooth riding in this heavy powder but you can't stop. Light sled the front end floats but still had snow coming over . Still snowing  saw some brave souls near the islands . I cant take the chance getting stuck so ill be done till next weekend hopefully it does not flood slush the whole lake.

Out near 123  at least a foot of snow some drifts to two feet. Have a tracked vehicle or never would of made it. Fishing is slow. 20" eye one jumbo perch and plenty of shorts.  Not a soul out here

WOW, I just spent 5 hours driving around the lake looking for parking. I passed Lewis three times but I never thought it would be plowed when everything else was not. Just my luck, I should have chanced it. I was worried about getting back out.

do you have any trouble running the tracks? I have a sportsman 500 with tracks and Wed. it got so clogged with snow it started overheating.

Radiators on the older 500s are down low - always been a problem.  Polaris changed the design a couple years back, I believe.  Hard to believe that with snow around the radiator and engine, it would overheat.
I use mine (a Polaris 550XP) a couple of times a year in the mountains on "deep" powder - never had a problem.  Use it on lakes of slush - never a problem.
