Still safe enough to take out the wheeler. Thinking about going out of Constantia in the AM. Any help would be appreciated.

Same holes as yesterday same results. Kept 25 jumbos and landed a bonus limit of eyes.  Must have thrown back 150 perch, a lot of 9-10" ers. Thought I was at sodus for a minute then looked at the bucket of 12"ers and 3 eyes.  I have never caught so many small perch in Oneida. I thought they hatched at 10".  One eye I got is covered in warts, probably 50 of them. Is it ok to eat?

Question for you Oneida experts. I have caught more walleyes this year than my entire Oneida career combined. I have kept 11 and thrown back a ton.  The interesting thing is I am getting them on small perch jigs, many of them on spikes. I am catching them in the few spots I always fish for perch?  Perch is all I ever target.  Is there just that many walleyes now or is it a result from fishing early ice.  Just curious, it sure is nice getting these bonus eyes while perch fishing, hope it continues.

I actually notice warts on a few I caught. Are they caused by anything unnatural? I found it odd. Never seen them before

Just realized that burbot I caught would've been dang close for the lead in the tourney, as well as the fella who caught the 27" pickeral a few days ago.

I have a feeling everyone is going to be on the lake tmmrw

Im new to the area and have finally found time to get out there. I'll check this thread again in a while with hopes that someone has posted where u can get bait. Thank you and good luck out there!

Bartel rd bait and tackle right in brewerton, and there is a place right in constantia by fish hatchery. Not sure hours or name though. It is directly across from hatchery.

Hi gents, new here, but certainly not new to Oneida on hard, or liquid water.....fished it since the mid-70's.
With my work schedule, just ready to head onto the ice now...was wondering how thick the ice is?
Have heard the bite is really good?
Thanks!!
